Popular nightclub Konka has announced it will close in May 2024 in Soweto. The nightclub revealed this news through a statement on its official social media handles.
Contrary to this news, Konka Soweto is trending. Over the years, nightclubs have quickly become a playground for the rich and famous.

Konka Soweto to close in May
However, the nightclub has revealed that a grand farewell-themed “season finale” will be held at the venue from February 18, 2024 to May.
Here's part of the statement that's going viral: “Looking back at great times and the journey that followed, and standing on the precipice of a new chapter, Konka Soweto, a haven of our memories and common experiences, will grow beyond our wildest dreams. And it's all thanks to you.

The statement continued: “With bittersweet hearts, we bid farewell to Soweto. Join us for the 'Season Finale' at Konka Soweto from 18 February 2024 to May 2024. This is not a farewell. Rather, it marks the beginning of something special. In the summer of 2024, Konka will open its new home. ”
The nightclub also announced it will focus on creating experiential lifestyle and outdoor events. After that, a list of events is said to be planned, including Taba Echo in March.

Rumored new place
This is not the first time the club has closed. It has closed several times in recent years for renovations. In response to the news, fans were convinced the new location would be in Sandton.
The nightclub has not yet revealed details about the new location.
