President Cyril Ramaphosa on Monday welcomed efforts to arrest leaders of both Hamas and Israel on war crimes charges, saying Israel would not hesitate to take action against the organizations it claims are South Africa's allies.
“The law must apply equally to all to uphold the international rule of law, ensure accountability for those who commit heinous crimes and protect the rights of victims,” Ramaphosa said in a statement.
