Nearly a decade after leaving e.tv's children's show Craz-e in 2015, presenter Lee Roy Wright is returning to the channel. Morning Show.
“It feels like a coming home for me to return to the channel that really cemented my television career,” Wright said.
Wright will join Mamohau Sesseane on the morning show, which is currently hosted by Kgosi Rankhumis and former Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Brighton Mhlongo.
“I'm very excited to be the new presenter. Morning Show “It will air on eTV and I am honoured to join the team and be involved in bringing engaging and captivating content to South African television screens,” said Sesean, another new presenter.

Excited
Wright was with Craz-e from 2008 to 2015.
“I am excited to bring fresh energy to The Morning Show and connect with our audience every morning. This opportunity marks a full circle moment for me and I can't wait to embark on this new journey with e.tv,” Wright affirmed.
Show producer Faffa Nel expressed his excitement about Wright joining the team.
“Watching Lee Roy take his screen test, it was clear he effortlessly demonstrated the skills he's honed over years as a young presenter. His natural ability to make both guests and the viewers at home feel welcome and comfortable is incredible,” he said.
Morning Show It airs daily from 6am to 8.30am on e.tv, providing viewers with hard news, informed opinion, lifestyle features and the latest sports news.
The TV show has a different theme each day of the week and features a variety of features. One of the show's biggest features is the TMS Ride Along, where one of the presenters, Kgosi, drives around Johannesburg interviewing celebrities.
Wright is set to debut Morning Show Wednesday, July 10, 2024.
