Family of murdered Kaizer Chiefs defender luke fleur Justice is closer to being served after Gauteng police confirmed the arrest of six suspects.
Fleur was killed last week in a suspected hijacking at a gas station near her home in Florida.
The 24-year-old defender joined Chiefs earlier this year but had yet to make his competitive debut at the time of his death.
Police have now confirmed that they have arrested six suspects in the early hours of Wednesday, April 10, at Slobo Building in Soweto.
Gauteng Police further announced that Fleur's car, which had already been stripped, was recovered on Monday, April 8.
Fleur was driving a red Golf 8 GTI at the time of her death.
More arrests are expected as police continue to investigate the murder of a young South African Olympic athlete.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs have confirmed details of a memorial service to be held in Fleur's memory.
A memorial service for Fleur is scheduled to be held at FNB Stadium on Thursday, April 11, according to a statement released by the Chiefs on Wednesday.
A memorial service is scheduled for noon.
In addition to his Chiefs teammates, Fleur's former teammates and friends will also be in attendance.
He played for Ubuntu before joining Kaitano Tembo's SuperSport United. Fleur also represented South Africa in the junior ranks and had the opportunity to compete in the Olympics.
