Luke Fleur's girlfriend Laila Krayenstein has broken her silence about his death in a heartbreaking video. Last week, a Kaizer Chiefs player was shot dead in a botched hijacking.
The footballer was driving his VW Gold 8 GTI to a petrol station in Honeydew, Johannesburg, when the tragedy occurred.
The 24-year-old signed a contract to join Amakos from SuperSport United at the end of last year, but has yet to make his debut as a player.
Luke Fleur's girlfriend: “We had a plan”
Lyla Krayenstein expressed her sadness over the loss of Luke Fleur in a video montage posted to her TikTok account.
“We had a plan, but God had a different plan,” she wrote, posting a series of images of herself and the late star.
She captioned the post: “There's a fine line between accepting something and suppressing it, so you realize there are things you haven't accepted yet.
“There's a fine line between overcoming something and avoiding it. A small window between today and tomorrow. And an even smaller window between checking in on someone or just thinking about it and not doing anything.
She continued, “I feel guilty, angry, frustrated, but most importantly, I feel powerless. Because when it comes to the next step, which side is the oppression or the tolerance?” Because there's nothing you can do except find out. I'm so sorry this world has broken you. Rest in peace. In this life and the next.”
@lailaa_.c You come to realize that there are things you have not yet accepted, because there is a fine line between accepting something and suppressing it. There's a fine line between overcoming something and avoiding it. There's a small window of time between today and tomorrow, and an even smaller window of time between checking on someone or just thinking about it and doing nothing. I feel guilty, angry, frustrated, but most importantly, I feel helpless because when it comes to the next step, there is nothing I can do other than figure out which side is oppression or acceptance. I feel that. I'm so sorry this world broke you. rest in peace. In this life or in the next. Love. 🤍🕊️♾️ #JusticeForLuke26 ♬ Heaven – 🎧Lyrics🎶
