He claims that an international company offered him $1 million (R19 008 970) to relinquish ownership of the podcast and Chill Network.
Podcast and Chill is one of Africa's largest podcasts, with over 1.2 million subscribers on YouTube.
“I was in America and there was an American company that offered me $1 million to buy a podcast and a chill network.
“It sounded like a good deal, but when I looked at it, I thought, no, we're being valued more than that,” McG said.

McG talks about independence and freedom
McG said he turned down the offer because he didn't want to get caught.
Furthermore, he added: “It's great to be independent. I'm scared of getting caught.”
McG said that if they gave him money and still allowed him to do whatever he wanted on the podcast, it would make sense for him.
He added, “Regardless of the amount or the content of the negotiations, we will continue to do what we want as long as we can.
“There's nothing worse than selling a company and then coming here and being told you can't drink on the show, or being told that you can't say things because you're a political official.''
“That just undermines the whole reason we do this. [the podcast]. So I don't think the independent freedom that I experienced with the podcast is for sale. ”
