Ace Magashule, leader of the Congress for African Change, said there was nothing to be excited about after voting in the latest elections.
Magashule said it was unfair that the IEC had not allowed them to take part in the local elections.
He cast his vote this morning surrounded by supporters at the Tumahole County AME Church in Parys, in the northern Free State province.

He said services in the Free State had not changed since he stepped down as premier.
“In 2021, the ANC did the same thing because of a technical glitch, the IEC refused to publish in the local paper and we were wronged. I was listening to the news at 11am this morning and the IEC was complaining about a technical glitch. All we had to do was publish the names of our candidates, but they went to court because of a technical glitch? Is there justice in that? I don't know, I don't think there is.”
