South African producer Makwa slams Nota Baloyi for unpaid royalties MyBabo.
The 2016 song by Kwesta features DJ Maphorisa, DJ Bucks, Itumeleng Bokaba and Okmalumkoolkat.
After Itumeleng's revelation that he was paid 59 cents for featuring on the song sparked uproar, Makwa set the record straight and said DJ Maphorisa had nothing to do with the unpaid royalties.
I produce the music and the people in the studio get royalties 😂😂
I will go to Samuro and delete their names. WTF!!

“Maphorisa is not responsible for this shit. Nota is. He started the split without our knowledge.”
Maphorisa is not to blame for this fiasco. Nota is. He created the divide without our knowledge https://t.co/kvYzC8coHU pic.twitter.com/pxBRG3KoqR

Nota Baloyi responded to Makwa with insulting language, claiming it was not his fault that some people were not paid their salaries.
“Ngizok'shaya wena… Ung'jwayela amasimba, go to SAMRO and correct whatever is wrong. I am not your publisher and have never claimed to be. And by the way, get my things back before I file a case of theft against you, snyefu!” Nota said.
