The firearms discharge case against Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema and co-defendant Adrian Snyman continues in the East London District Court on January 23 as closing arguments by Malema and Snyman's defense continue. It was postponed to.
Prosecutor Joel Caesar concluded his closing argument, telling the court that Malema's testimony was false and misleading.
However, he acknowledged in court that he may not have been able to overwhelmingly satisfy the court about the charges against No. 2 defendant Adrian Snyman.

The state added an accessory charge that alleges Snyman tampered with the rifle used by Malema that night.
