Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema has warned against reducing the organization to individuals. His comments came in the absence of the party's former national spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi at the EFF National People's Congress.
The outgoing EFF leadership today briefed the media at the opening of the second day of the party's third NPA at the Johannesburg Expo Center in Gauteng.
In early November, there was speculation that EFF MP and former spokesperson Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi would be expelled from the electoral conference. Asked about Ndlozi's absence, Malema said the EFF would no longer comment on the matter and said the organization was not alone.
“Why worry about one person more than the many people here? As if he were in a meeting. Just as if he were not here, the meeting would not be held. That is It's happening without him. He's not here. People are saying he's here and doing this. He's not here. And it's not in our interest to entertain such nonsense. We're dealing with politics here, not egoism or people thinking they're bigger than this organization.”

Malema also spared no punches against Umkhonto wesizwe and his leader Jacob Zuma. Mr Zuma, whose party includes former EFF executives, supports black consciousness and solidarity.
But Malema says there is no black consciousness in MKParty.
“Having black consciousness is not just a word. It's what you do. It's your consciousness, your alignment, what kind of decisions you make. In Marikana, black consciousness You can't kill a conscious person. They weren't fighting, they left their employer's building and went to stay in the mountains, and a conscious black leader picked up a gun. , shoot towards the mountain.”
While party delegates are awaiting the selection of the EFF leadership, Malema also revealed that only leaders with postgraduate qualifications will be selected. The organization wants to create a society of educated people and leaders by example, he says.
“Post-Matrix doesn't necessarily mean Matrix, but it does mean the equivalent of more than Matrix. We will not have illiterate leaders. Zuma is actually asking why such It should have been a good example of why we don't need it. So we look at Mr Zuma and say that something like this must never happen again and that the ANC seems to want Mbalula to make the same mistake. I must say that I am trying.”
