Mariah's visit to China comes just weeks after her mother and sister died on the same day.
Photos and videos of global music star Mariah Carey walking along the Great Wall of China in six-inch heels have sparked a variety of reactions on social media.
In the video, the 55-year-old singer is seen looking totally glamorous in a stunning black dress paired with black platform heels.
“On the Great Wall! Someone should have warned me about high heels (I didn't listen).” We are together The hitmaker captioned the image with an X.
The visit came nearly a month after the singer's mother and sister died on the same day.

Meanwhile, the pop star is preparing for her “Mariah Carey's Christmas Time” tour, which will visit 20 cities in the United States.
Mariah announced her highly anticipated annual Christmas tour last month.
The tour kicks off on November 6th and is scheduled to conclude on December 17th in her hometown of New York City.
“I am so excited to celebrate the holidays with all of you,” Carey added in the announcement video.
