Mashabela Galane paid tribute to his close friend DJ Peter “Mashata” Mabuse at a tribute concert held on Thursday night, April 25th.

Limpopo comedian Mashabela Galane and many other friends from the industry paid tribute to DJ Mashata at a memorial concert at the Emperor's Palace.
A video of Mashabela at the memorial service was shared by @_BlackZA and captioned. video: “Yesterday, Mashabela broke down in tears at her best friend's tribute event 'Mashata'.”
A memorial service for Mabuse was held at 2pm on the same day at the Tshwane University of Technology, Pretoria West Campus.
Mashabela revealed on X on Wednesday that the Mashata tribute venue has been changed to a larger venue offering more capacity.
Proceeds from Mashata's memorial concert will be donated to the Mabuse family.

Peter Mabuse: Funeral
Fans of popular DJ and comedian Peter Mabuse Mabuse can drop off flowers at his parents' home in Block U, Lina Street, Mabopane on Saturday 27th April from 2pm to 5pm.
The comedian's funeral will be held at 8 a.m. Sunday at Acacia Community Hall.
