Following the publication of a list of people who have received benefits from the ANC government over the past few months through the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, Mac G, whose real name is MacGyver Mukwevo, has shot to the top of Twitter and now the X trends list.
Newly appointed Minister Gayton made good on his promise, revealing names including some well-known faces. Podcasts and Chill Host, Mac G.
South Africans were shocked to see the presenter's name on the list because he is known as someone who does not tolerate favouritism or injustice. He is also known as a voice of truth, so it was expected that his having been paid by the ministry would have been revealed long ago.
The list stated that Mac G had received the huge sum of R75 000 from the police.
