Music mogul and businessman Chicco Twala has said he is refusing to take the witness stand in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial. Here's why…
Renowned musician and producer Sello “Chicco” Twala has made it clear that he will not testify in the high-profile murder trial of footballer Senzo Meyiwa, which is being held at the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria.

In a further development in a case that has been going on for almost a decade, barrister Thulani Mgomezulu revealed details of a 2019 affidavit from the 27-year-old footballer's brother Sifiso Meyiwa.
Mr Sifiso claims Mr Senzo was shot dead on October 26, 2014 by Mr Chikko's son, Longwe Twala.
Muzi Sibiya's attorney, Mugomezulu, told Judge Lhasa Mokgotlen on Monday that he had accused Dr Irvin Khoza, the boss of music mogul Orlando Pirates, and Meyiwa's then-girlfriend, an African pop star. He said Kelly Khumalo should be summoned to testify.
The night Senzo Akeiwa was killed
