Miss South Africa 2023, Natasha Joubert, officially handed the crown to the new queen.
Mia Le Roux, a model and marketing manager from Oudtshoorn in the Western Cape, has been crowned Miss South Africa 2024.
The prestigious event took place on Saturday 10th August at the Sunbet Arena, Times Square, Menlyn, Tshwane.
Le Roux, who is also a part-time Bachelor of Commerce Marketing student, won the competition against nine other finalists – Leila Zubair, Lebohang Khoza, Nompumelelo Maduna, Onalenna Constantine, Ontsiametse Tulopane, Palesa Lombard and Taaohila Katz, as well as models Kirsten Kahn and Kebalepile Ramaphoko.
Kirsten and Kebarepile made it into the top ten after contestant Chidimma Adesina withdrew.

About Mia Le Roux
Le Roux, 28, was born in Sasolburg, Free State, and was diagnosed with a profound hearing loss at the age of one.
She is grateful that the support of her community helped her get the treatment she needed, and the experience has inspired her to break down barriers and make a positive impact.
Leroux's path to the crown also included taking part in the reality TV show Crown Chasers, where she impressed viewers by winning several episodes, including two consecutive wins.
The show gives an inside look at what it takes to compete in the Miss South Africa pageant, showcasing the hardships and dedication it takes to win the title.
In her new role as Miss South Africa 2024, Le Roux hopes to use her platform to continue to inspire others and advocate for change.
