Chidinma Vanessa Adesina has a supportive family and it is evident when she speaks about them and the love they have for her can be seen in a video that is going viral on social media.
Despite being subjected to hate, cyberbullying and hatred for taking part in the pageant, the Miss South Africa contestant remained focused and did not give up on her goal.
Vanessa is ranked in the top 11 and may achieve a new milestone by entering the top 10 soon.
A video posted on social media of the beauty queen's family congratulating her on being named a finalist in the Miss South Africa pageant has sparked a huge uproar, with most of the comments being critical of her.
“Miss South Africa from Nigeria is the funniest thing I've ever seen. Going to another country and taking away the only thing reserved for its people. We're not listening,” wrote a Twitter user.
She was at risk of being bullied and rejected by South Africans and this was a PR flop.

But you won't have this energy for the white Europeans who enforced apartheid and continue to oppress you in your own countries🤣🤣🤣 Sad priorities
