However, Mokwena's suitors appear to be planning to wait until his contract at Sundowns expires amid growing interest.

Soweto-born Mokwena has signed a four-year contract extension with Sundowns after winning the DStv Premiership last season.
Amid the interest, Mokwena will lead Sundowns in their CAF Champions League game away to Nouadhibou on Saturday.

Mokwena, the current AFL champion with Sundowns, also spoke about the next game and said they must get a good result.
Sundowns are in high spirits after beating La Masia 6-1 in the Nedbank Cup on Tuesday, but Mokwena wants a win.
“No, I'm very happy here, I'm very happy at Sundowns and I've been here for a very long time,” Mokwena said in concern.
“My contract is for four years, so I'll be at Sundowns for the next four years and I'm very happy.”

Regarding Group A, Mokwena said Sundowns must be ready to play on artificial pitches.
Looking at the group, Sundowns and Mazembe are level on seven points, but are separated on goal difference.
Sundowns mentor Mokwena added: “If you look at the game against Nouadhib, even if it's a domestic game, I think it's eleven against eleven.”
“I think Nouadhibou have had a very good performance in 12 league games, winning 10 and drawing 2, scoring 20 goals and conceding only two.
“They can be successful, but we need to produce the best possible performance under very difficult circumstances.
“It's not easy for us either, but this is what the Champions League is about: adapting to the environment and dealing with a lot of adversity.
“We have to show that as a group we have gained experience over the last few seasons.
“Sundowns will have to put in a strong performance to win against a very strong Nouadhibou team.”
The match between Sundowns and the hosts begins at 18:00, with Mokwena looking for another win.
