Mokwena said he watched Tuesday's Caf draw but was unsure about the draw with Yanga.
Sundowns' astute manager said he will be keeping a close eye on his opponents for an equalizer, but his focus is on the Nedbank Cup.
Mokwena are aiming for a place in the last eight, while Masandawana face Maritzburg United in Nedbank this weekend.
Mokwena is scheduled to face Yanga this month, although Kahu is yet to announce the dates for their last eight match against Yanga.

Fresh off a one-all draw against SuperSport United, Makwena will now turn his focus to Sunday's match against Nedbank.
Many say Yanga are an easy opponent for Sundowns, but Mokwena wants to respect Cuff's every game.
“I don't really know what I think about the Champions League combination yet,” Mokwena said of Yanga. SABC Sports.
“Of course I watched the drawing, but I can't say what I thought right away.
“You have to look at your opponent carefully.
“I've watched all the opponents, all the games in the Champions League.
“But I’ve been looking at it as a coach and not as an analyst, so now I have to switch.”
37-year-old coach Mokwena is using the upcoming FIFA International break to analyze Yanga.
Yanga: Who is Sundowns' next opponent?
East African side Yanga are currently top of the Tanzania Premier League under former Sundowns coach Miguel Gamondi.
“They have a good coach in Miguel Gamondi, he was at Sundowns,” Mokwena continued about the match between Cuff and Yanga.
“A very organized team with a very good structure.
“Well, let’s take a look before we jump to conclusions.
“Right now we have to concentrate on the next game against Maritzburg. It's a difficult game.”
Mokwena will host the Team of Choice at the Lucas Moripe Stadium as they remain unbeaten in the league.
