Being the face of a national television show can put a lot of pressure on you. Mduduzi Mahlangu, host of new TV show 'Moja Love' oak 2 oakhe says he didn't feel this burden because he knows so well what's at the core of the show. town.

“I don't think I can say I feel any pressure yet because this show is still new and it's very much in my element,” the 33-year-old said.

This is Mahlangu's first time hosting a show on a national platform, although he has done some hosting and broadcasting work in the past.

“I've been working behind the scenes on TV for years, so this show is an opportunity to prove how good I am in front of the camera,” says the cheerful host.
“It has been my lifelong dream to become a television presenter, but more than that, this is an opportunity to learn television production through the guidance of the show's producer, Mangi Mbileni.”
Mahlangu, who has a keen interest in fashion, spoke about his involvement beyond just being the face of the show.
“Having worked in township marketing and brand activation, I research the region to ensure I am informed and adapt to the local language, clothing and lifestyle,” he says. said.
“I also give ideas to the producers and offer my knowledge and perspective to enhance the show. Basically my role is to inject authentic Kashi elements. oak 2 oak”

Celebrating the beauty of the townscape

According to Mahlangu, the first season of the show is still in production, with about 70% of the episodes filmed and a few more left to complete the season. The first season will consist of 13 episodes.
Mahlangu says he doesn't have a favorite among the episodes he has already shot as each one has something to contribute to the show.
“Honestly, I can’t pick just one favorite episode,” he says.
“Whether it was the energy of the guests, the vibe and aesthetic of Kashi, or the way I connected, each was a unique experience with its own excitement.”
