Msaki is taking a hiatus to reconnect with her family and have some time for herself.

Rather than simply praying for those whose dreams cannot be fulfilled, the singer has taken inspiration from the song to set up a foundation, bringing the lyrics above to even greater life.
“Three years ago, I started asking myself what was behind the songs I was catching. I realized I cared about people's dreams and alignment to their purpose,” the multi-award-winning Msaki said in an Instagram post about her Fetch Your Life Foundation.
Supported by three pillars: creativity, fellowship, and community, the foundation is defined as a space concerned with finding encouraging ways to see more souls of this generation move towards their purpose.
“We love to see people living in accordance with their dreams and talents. Our desire is to help them connect directly with and live the life they are as creative, dynamic, expansive beings. [the] “Sources,” the foundation claimed in a statement last year,

Last year, the singer announced that she was taking a break from performing on stage because she simply wanted to reconnect with herself and her family.
“I want to live in the moment. I want to be a better daughter, to be able to call more. I want to see my sister's kids grow up. I haven't had a weekend off in the last three years. I'm grateful for that, but I also feel that success shouldn't be something where you have to survive on a vine,” Ms Musaki told News24 in an interview last year.
In his latest statement, Msaki said that since retiring from the stage, “I have more time on my hands and a stronger desire to see people connect with their innermost desires and talents in ways big and small.”
“I would love to do more of this… It seems to be in my nature,” she added.
“Sometimes it's an entire camp or retreat, sometimes just a day, or even just a moment of singing, playing and searching our hearts together. Every moment is a precious step towards harmony.”
Last September, the foundation held its first Equinox Creativity Gathering at Farmhouse 85 in the Cradle of Humankind in Krugersdorp.
The vernal equinox is the day when the sun crosses the equator, making day and night roughly the same length everywhere on Earth. This year's equinox is expected to occur on September 22nd.
