Ndivhudzannyi “Makhadzi” Ralivhona has expressed his excitement about winning this year’s BET Awards, calling it a miracle.
The South African singer arrived at OR Tambo International Airport on Wednesday and was given a warm welcome.
Makhazi said she deserved the award because of all the hard work she had put in and said she looked forward to winning more prestigious awards, especially a Grammy.
“I deserved this. I worked hard for this. I am here today because of all the hard work. I used to perform in taverns but I have always believed in myself and loved my craft and that is why I am here with the support of my fans,” she said.
“Now my price is going up. They've got to watch out. I'm after a Grammy next!”
She further said God would help her with her SARS debt and that she would be able to earn more money and pay off the debt.
“God was with me. He felt my pain when I had to give my last money and gave me this award, which has helped me to multiply that money 20-fold. It's important to be patient and believe in yourself.”
“Black child, believe in yourself, believe in your dreams, stay true to yourself and all things are possible.”
“I believe I am a miracle child. When you know where I started and where I am today, you realize that God sent me into the world so that people who don't believe in miracles might believe.”
