Nadia Jafta is at the center of a controversy over a statement she made about her brother Tariq, who has been accused of domestic violence.
To add insult to injury, the influencer's comments were countered by her brother on TikTok Live.
Tariq made headlines after the family of his wife Danika (also known as Alisha) accused him of abusing and threatening her.

Nadia Jafsa responds to allegations about her brother
On Friday, February 16, Dale Patience, Danica or Alisha's younger brother, expressed concern for his sister.
According to Dale, his sister is in an allegedly abusive marriage to Tariq Jafta. Dale also accused Tariq, who has two other wives, of threatening his sister. The couple have five young children.

Nadia Jafta distanced herself from the family drama unfolding on social media on her Instagram account.
She said in a statement: “Personally, I have no relationship with Tariq Jafta, nor do I know the whereabouts of Alisha/Danika, nor have I been involved in any of his recent developments.
She continued, “I will not tolerate anyone's rights being violated. I have not been able to contact Tariq so I don't know the details, but my only hope is that Alisha/Danika is found and reunited with her family.” I hope so. I am actively working with her family and will continue to do so.”
How to save face?
Tariq claimed on Saturday's TikTok Live that he has a “great” relationship with Nadia Jafta and that he had spoken to her recently.

Many followers criticized her in the comments section.
