The drama is a new international co-production from M-Net that delves into crime, passion, drugs and double dealing in a divided city.

Investigative journalist Edie Hansen (Dormer) is shocked when her estranged brother is murdered in a home invasion. “When she is reunited with her orphaned teenage niece and nephew under the most difficult of circumstances, she is quickly drawn into the nightmarish aftermath,” M-Net reports.
Chasing a murderer across the complex and beautiful city of Cape Town, Edie travels from the lush southern suburbs of white privilege to the poverty-stricken wastelands, discovering that evil knows no boundaries and knows no discrimination.
The story dissects an introverted, affluent community and is structured around a deeply personal psychological and emotional journey, in the vein of a binge-watching show that includes: . big little lies and sharp things. white lie The film is a fascinating mystery, a complex family drama, and a poignant examination of a deeply divided society struggling to come to terms with its past sins.

The drama is produced by Harriet Gabuchon and Nimrod Geva of Quizzical Pictures. Dormer and Darrell Bristow-Bovey will serve as executive producers. The lead director of the series is of the wound John Trengove and Tati Pelle (Lerato), Katherine Cook (Reika) and Christian Olwagen (Poppy nongena, canary).
