Nota was sentenced to 60 days in prison…
The recent arrest of controversial podcast host and music executive Nlamulo “Nota” Baloyi has set tongues wagging on social media.
Mr Baloyi was reportedly arrested while appearing in Randburg Magistrates Court on Thursday.
His appearance was in connection with the ongoing rape case filed against him by actress Itumeleng Bokaba.
According to daily sunthe music executive was found guilty of contempt of court last March and sentenced to 60 days in prison.
However, he was unable to complete his sentence at that time because he was admitted to a psychiatric hospital.
This comes after multi-award winning rapper Ntokozo Mdluli (also known as KO) filed a court order against Nota over social media allegations linking him to the murder of the late Keenan “AKA” Forbes. Ta.
Nota was reportedly taken directly into police custody from Randburg Court on Thursday, November 7.

Last month, Baloyi turned himself in at Randburg Police Station after actress and singer Itumeleng Bokaba filed a rape case against him at Douglasdale Police Station.
“I'm turning myself in at Randburg Police Station and praying for the best. Please keep me in your prayers. Today is officially the worst day of my life so far,” Baloi wrote to X. .
In a now-deleted statement posted on Instagram, Bokaba expressed her displeasure after blogger Musa Kaula leaked information about her case.

“I also want to make my case before a qualified judge who is educated on consent, sexual crimes, the psychology of rape, etc. I refuse to participate in any popularity contest.

Baloyi denied the allegations in a series of tweets, saying everything that happened between them was consensual.
“This is wrong. I am hurt, but I trust that God will restore my honor and condemn those who tried to dishonor it with the damnation assigned by Satan.” he said in another post.
