Nota Baloi has expressed anger over the defamation of Mac G and Sol Fenduka on a recent episode of his podcast and Chill.
A controversial music industry executive was jailed on rape charges but was released on R5,000 bail on Monday.
In the podcast, Mac G and Sol Phenduka weighed in on the issue.
“Everything Norta says may be true, but the moment she says no, it doesn't matter,” Mack said.
Sol agreed with him. “Deleted text messages prove she said no and pushed him. No means no,” he said.
Nota took to Twitter to express his disappointment with the presenters and said he could not turn Chillers against him.
“Due to comments made that are untrue, we are considering our legal options at this time,” Nota said in a statement.
The socialite said he would prove his innocence.
“I am letting the law take its course and hopefully the truth will get out and clear my name. And all those who didn't believe me will see my innocence. McG and Sol Fenduka “I can't turn the Chillers against me,” he said.
“Defamation is a question of intent, but could a reasonable person agree that your statement was intended to defame someone? It's not a test. Believe me, I've been going through high court cases all my life to learn this firsthand,” Nota added.
“Once META certifies, we'll see what Sol Fenduka has to pay for the heinous claims regarding the deleted messages…Tell her you'll pay off my legal debt. Damn it. What a generous woman!”
