Last Saturday, the Boks ended a three-game losing streak against Ireland with a 27-20 victory in the first Test at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria.
Emotional
Following on from actress and singer Keabetswe “KB” Motsiranyane’s beautiful rendition of the national anthem at Loftus last week, rugby fans were in for another treat at Hollywoodbets Kings Park Stadium in Durban.
After the national anthem, the crowd sang along with Mbambo, again raising emotions.
Social media was also abuzz on Saturday as fans shared their excitement at Mbambo's memorable rendition of the national anthem.
Mbambo has been in the music industry for over 25 years and holds a special place in the South African gospel scene.

Bomb Squad
Meanwhile, Springbok captain Siya Kolisi looked inspired at his team's pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of their hard-fought clash with Ireland.
Kolisi was in no mood to entertain complaints about the Boks, who have come under renewed criticism as the “bomb squad” famous in some circles and notorious in others.
The Boks could easily do it again this weekend if manager Rachid Erasmus feels the need to try and turn things around, and Kolisi is adamant his team are used to complaints about legitimate tactics.
“It happens so often that we don't care. If you look at the rule book you'll see that nothing we do breaks the rules,” Kolisi said when asked about the furore.
