Springboks vs Ireland
The highly anticipated match will kick off at 5pm at the Hollywoodbets Kings Park Stadium in Durban.
This will be the Springboks' second match since their triumphant return from the Rugby World Cup, following their match at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in South Africa on 6 July.
In a recent video shared on the Springboks' official Instagram account, star players Damien de Allende and Franco Mostert reminisced about their first match in Mzansi since the World Cup.
Franco Mostert said: “I know the World Cup is special but I have to say it's even more special to come back to South Africa and play our first match. The messages, the support from the lifts was just amazing. When the national anthem started to be sung and the singer (KB) stopped it it was incredible to hear everyone singing together. It brought us all together.”
Damian de Allende said, “I've been fortunate to play in many test matches, [the Loftus match] It's probably in my top three. As far as I remember, when KB took the mic off and everyone started singing the last part, I got a little emotional and stopped singing. It was so good to hear the South African national anthem again after winning the World Cup.”
