Who are the one-cap Springboks still playing?
Robert du Preez
When it comes to forgotten Springboks, former Sharks and Stormers star Robert du Preez almost certainly falls into that category.
Du Preez, the older brother of other Springboks Jean-Luc and Dan, has been plying his trade in England with Sale Sharks since 2019.

In fact, the 30-year-old has over 100 caps for English clubs and is a key member of the team, but it's also worth noting that he also played several times for the Barbarians. He also played for the Junior Springboks in 2013.
Du Preez featured in his lone match for the Springboks in 2018, coming off the bench during the memorable one-off test against Wales in Washington.
This was Rassie Erasmus' first game as Bok coach and since then some have suggested the Springboks should take another look at du Preez, but he has yet to be called up.
Du Preez is currently in his 30s, but if he continues to perform well at Sale Sharks, he could still be forced into the squad.
