Monday, August 19, 2024, marked one year since Angie Oye's tragic death from cancer at just 24 years old.
Despite her loss, fans will be able to experience her unique voice once again with 14 new songs being released later this month.
Before his untimely death, Angie produced the official soundtrack for Showmax Originals. Wifeyalongside Peach Van Pletzen.
Featuring collaborations with Biggie, Early B, Hannah and Jack Parow, the soundtrack will be available on all major music platforms soon.

“Her voice was unforgettably beautiful.”
Peach van Pletzen said, “When Angie came into the studio I immediately knew we were creating something special with her ideas and her voice. Hers is one of the most hauntingly beautiful voices I have ever recorded.”
“Working with her was an unforgettable experience. The music is loaded with emotion as I lost her during production. I had to complete most of it after she passed away, but having her voice is a great gift and honour to me. She was proud of my work and so am I.”
Peach returned to the studio and completed the entire soundtrack.
“Revisiting these tracks has been a beautiful, challenging and cathartic journey,” says Peach.
“Although Angie was not there physically, her presence was felt strongly throughout this process, and we are thrilled to finally be able to share this music with the world.”

Two singles have already been released: Dance Track Fish PumpAngie's first time singing in English Kelkmaizy Kaira (Ratatata)Featuring Jack Parow.
Other collaborators on the project include Kay Faith and Yesterday's Papyrus.
Angie's new music video This Jew Wife was also released. The video features the show's stars Beata Bena Green, Celeste Roots, Kristen Lars and Mienke Ehlers.
