Openview has announced that it has decided to discontinue Power-Up! channel 114, effective Monday, July 8th.
The channel was launched in January 2023 at the peak of South Africa’s power outage challenges.
Power-Up! made sure viewers didn't miss out on their favorite shows, regardless of the outage schedule. The channel re-aired some of the country's most popular shows for viewers to watch once power was restored.
The company has become known for its continuous re-broadcasts of popular prime-time shows on e.tv. Durban Gen, Zwider family, scandal!and Imbeu It airs every day from Monday to Friday from 6am to late night.
Additionally, the weekend featured omnibus re-runs of popular Afrikaans dramas, including: #Uncomplicated, Die Crazy Summer, Vertrowling more.

New Openview Decoder
Last week, eMedia announced the launch of its new Openview OV512 decoder.
