Cricket South Africa (CSA) announced the domestic schedule for the 2024/25 international home season on Friday, and the big takeaway is that the Proteas men's team only have three Test matches left this year.
The international summer begins in August with South Africa 'A' tour against Sri Lanka 'A'. The tour will consist of three 50-over matches and two four-day matches.
Following the T20 World Cup in June in West Indies and the United States, the Proteas will play two Tests against Sri Lanka before hosting an all-format tour against Pakistan during the holiday season.
The Proteas will face Sri Lanka in the first Test at Kingsmead, Durban, from November 27 to December 1, followed by the second Test at St George's Park, Gukebela, from December 5 to 9. be done.
Pakistan will then tour South Africa in December for a full format tour including the traditional Boxing Day Test at Centurion and the New Year Test at Newlands in Cape Town.
Meanwhile, the Pink Day ODI will be held on December 22nd at Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.
Tickets will go on sale on August 19th.

Meanwhile, the Proteas Women will be hosting England on a multi-format tour.
The tour will consist of three T20Is, three ODIs and the women's Test, which will be played in South Africa for the first time since 2002.
The four-day match will be held from December 15th to 18th at Mangan Oval in Bloemfontein.
