David Adams has been appointed as Payfast's new MD.
Payment processing company PayFast has promoted chief commercial officer (CCO) David Adams to MD of its Network International subsidiary.
Mr. Adams brings more than 20 years of experience in the global payment services sector to his new role, according to a statement.
He replaces Brendon Williamson, who has stepped down from the role from 2021.
While at the helm of Payfast, Williamson led the charge through several major acquisitions and mergers, including overseeing the integration of several brands, most notably Payfast, Paygate, SiD, VC, and DPO Pay under Network International. Assisted in leading the team.
