Pearl Tusi tackles vandalism
South African actress Pearl Toosi is starting the year by taking on online trolls who thrive on belittling her.
Pearl shares a message of self-priority and positivity.
On Twitter, she encouraged her followers to find joy within themselves.
“Once you are happy, no one can change your mind. Always choose you. And don’t let others give you blessings that you think you don’t deserve. Remember God,” she wrote.
Pearl also expressed her frustration at the unwarranted hatred and disrespect she receives despite living a peaceful life.
“Sometimes I'll never understand the level of hate and disrespect I receive here. I'm just living my life and I don't know how upsetting it is to so many people. I realize you have no interest in understanding. But if lying and dragging my name makes you happy, I'm glad I brought you that fleeting happiness.”
Reflecting on her resilience, she said it was her faith that kept her strong despite hardships.
“I hope you never go through what you went through for me. Without God, I would not have survived that time and still continue to rise.” I am living proof that only God can destroy what He has built.”
In closing, the actress and DJ expressed her gratitude to those who supported her:
