Pearl Toosi is failing to get boys back to school
Pearl Tusi has come under fire on social media after revealing that the man she swore to help did not fulfill his promise.
In September 2024, a man posted a photo of his two sons on X (formerly Twitter) and shared a heartfelt post about their financial struggles. He revealed that he did not have the ability to pay their tuition fees.
“Today my last attempt to get my sons back to school failed. So I sat them down and let them know the reality that things weren't going well for their mother. “I don't know when I'll be back. But this isn't forever,” he wrote.
Touched by the post, Pearl Toosi expressed her concern and also tagged her close friend DJ Zinhle, suggesting they would work together to help the family.
“Send us your school name and account details so we can verify and we'll donate. @DJZinhle Let's split it up, baby?” Pearl wrote at the time.
However, several months later, the man revealed that he had not heard from Pearl. He also admitted that he is still grappling with the same challenges.
“I'm so sorry for what you're going through. Actually, I'm still in the same situation. No one here who offered help helped. However, you may be lucky. However, I encourage you to go to your local Department of Education office and ask for employment assistance,” he wrote in response to another struggling parent.
When asked for further explanation, he provided further details. “The last time Pearl responded to my DM was on September 19th, saying, 'No money in?' After that, no one else responded at all. I didn't reply for weeks. I spoke alone in people’s DMs!”
Sympathetic social media users rallied around the man and helped raise money to cover his child's tuition fees.

Pearl Toosi, on the other hand, faced widespread criticism regarding X for not keeping her word.
If someone still has the energy to protect Pearl Tusi and is playing this game in the meantime…she will pay these kids, even if it's by force.
