When Seabelo Senatla was involved in a horrific car accident in May 2023, those close to him feared his rugby career was over.
Senatla suffered severe muscle and nerve damage to his arm, and the prognosis at the time was that he would have to go through the mountains to have a chance to play again.

Now, a year on, the 31-year-old former Sevens star appears to be well on his way to making a comeback.
Senatla completed a full training session with the Stormers at their home base in Bellville on Monday ahead of the squad's departure for back-to-back away games against the Dragons and Connacht in the United Rugby Championship (URC). However, a photo was taken.
Although he will almost certainly not feature this season as he is not part of the touring group, Senatla has made a remarkable recovery and is understood to have a real chance of returning next season.
Senatla was a key member of the Stormers who won the URC title in 2021/22, and remained a key cog until he was ruled out ahead of last season's quarter-finals.
The Stormers are blessed with quality wing options in Senatla's absence, with Leolin Szasz, Suleiman Hartzenberg and Ben Roeder all having good seasons.
