Thwaites is perhaps best known for playing Dick Grayson/Nightwing on the hit DC series Titans.
With just days to go until Comic-Con Africa kicks off, organisers have announced that Brenton Thwaites will be appearing at the event.
Thwaites is known for his outstanding performances in hit series and blockbuster films.
Fans of the Australian actor can look forward to seeing him at the upcoming event at the Johannesburg Expo Centre.
Brenton Thwaites
Thwaites has gained international acclaim for his roles in films such as Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, The Giver and Maleficent, but he is perhaps best known for his role as Dick Grayson/Nightwing in the hit DC series Titans.
The event runs from Thursday 26th September to Sunday 29th September, with Thwaites taking part in the events on Saturday 28th September and Sunday 29th September.
Thwaites will be appearing on the main stage at Comic Con Africa at the following times:
- Saturday: 12:30-12:55
- Sunday: 10:00-10:25

The Incredible Hulk
Other international celebrities attending Comic Con Africa include legendary actor and bodybuilder Lou Ferrigno.
Best known for his iconic role as the original Hulk in the 1970s TV series, “The Incredible Hulk,” Ferrigno's addition will be a great addition to the show and will delight fans of all ages.
Ferrigno's portrayal of the Hulk is one of the most enduring and beloved versions of the character. From 1977 to 1982, he brought Marvel's green giant to life and captured the hearts of millions.
Joe Manganiello
Another star taking part in Comic Con Africa this year is Joe Manganiello.
Manganiello is known for his roles in films such as True Blood, Magic Mike, Magic Mike XXL, Spider-Man and Justice League.
In 2024, Manganiello became the host of Deal or No Deal Island. He will next appear in Nonnas, co-starring with Vince Vaughn and Susan Sarandon.
The fifth live iteration of Comic Con Africa will take place from 26th to 29th September at the Nasrec Johannesburg Expo Centre.
In addition to celebrity meet-and-greets, the event will feature panel discussions, an artist alley, an experience hall and a variety of activities for pop culture lovers of all ages.
