Pitso Mosimane will be well compensated if he ends his contract with Al Ahly Jeddah early.
Following his dismissal, Mosimane took responsibility for the club and referred the matter to FIFA arbitration.
Upon leaving the club, Mosimane said he had not received a salary from the club for five months, from January to June.
The manager also claimed that the club breached its contractual obligation to continue in his role after he won promotion to the Saudi professional division.

According to FIFA, Mosimane will be paid approximately R24 million, with the breakdown as follows:

Mosimane revealed in an interview that he intended to stay at the club for at least two years.
“MT Sports has received numerous offers for our services from clubs and national teams from all over the world. We decided to take on an interesting and very challenging project. To make a football team champions. It’s a project to change,” Mosimane said.
“We have a two-year mission to rebuild this team.

On 26 January 2024, Mosimane joined Saudi Arabian club Abha on a four-unit contract.
