Social media users were reminded of former president and Umkhonto Wesizwe (MK) party leader Jacob Zuma's relationship with then-teenage Nonkaniiso Konko, commonly known as Lakonko.
This comes amid controversial comments about his vision to deport pregnant teenage girls to Robben Island if his party comes to power.
The 81-year-old made the comments while speaking to a crowd of supporters in Magonku, a suburb of Pietermaritzburg, over the weekend.

Mr Zuma insisted to the audience that teenage pregnancy would not be tolerated at his MK party. If that were to happen, young girls would essentially be exiled to Robben Island to complete their schooling.
Girls will be separated from their communities.
“According to the law, children should not have children. That is not life. It is a disease. We will end it,” he said.
Mr Zuma did not say what would happen to the baby or the man who fathered it.
What about Laconco?

Lakonco was a teenage girl when this predator slept with her without using a condom and impregnated her. Now they say he is not supporting the child. A bloody pervert… pic.twitter.com/7TYkVignnh
