Holders Qatar defeated Uzbekistan in a penalty shootout to advance to the Asian Cup semi-finals.
Qatar took the lead in the first half when Uzbekistan goalkeeper Utkir Yusupov turned a cross from Hassan Al Haydos into his own goal.
Uzbekistan equalized in the 59th minute with a shot into the bottom corner of the goal by Odilyon Khamrobekov, and the score remained level until extra time.
Asian Cup hosts Qatar won 3-2 in the penalty shootout.
Qatar, the 2019 champions and current holders, will face Iran in the semi-finals on Wednesday (3pm Japan time).
Iran came from behind to defeat four-time champions Japan on Saturday.
Hidemasa Morita's goal in the 28th minute gave Japan the lead, but Iran's Mohammad Mohebi tied the score in the second half.
Brighton forward Alireza Jahanbakhsh then converted a penalty in the sixth minute of stoppage time, sealing victory for Iran as they look to reach their first final since winning the competition in 1976.
South Korea, led by Tottenham forward Son Heung-min, will face Jordan in the other semi-final on Tuesday (15:00).
