President Cyril Ramaphosa is facing calls for his resignation from the nation following the strengthening of ties he has forged with Nigeria.
A few days ago, President Ramaphosa granted free visa entry to Nigerians, which caused a lot of outrage and became a hot topic on social media.
As people expressed their disappointment with the president, protests against him swept the internet with chants like: Ramaphosa has to go.
a Twitter user wrote. To all of South Africa and all South Africans, this is not the president, but he is pretending to be the president. Originally he is the president of Nigeria and we demand his resignation #NationalShutDown. ”
Another user wrote: “I really hope this national shutdown actually happens because I'm really tired of always being trending without any effective change.”

Dear South Africans from all nine provinces, we have our differences but let's put them aside
Let's agree on one thing: #RamaphosaMustGo.
The man should simply resign.
