Star-studded six-part spin-off 'Celebrity MasterChef South Africa' concludes this Saturday
A star-studded six-part spin-off designed as a special treat for the holiday season. South African celebrity master chefs concludes on Saturday with media personality Dineo Ranaka taking on content creator Seth Shezi.
The pair met in the final semi-final, with Shezi winning the challenge and Ranaka taking second place.
In the semi-finals, Ranaka, Shezi, singer Holly Rae and fashion designer Mtukisi Mbane competed for two spots in the final.
The first four episodes featured 12 famous South Africans with a passion for food and culinary talent divided into four groups.
One group at a time, the celebrities had to impress the judges with their delicious dishes. These will ensure that one contestant in the group secures a spot in the penultimate cook-off.
From there, the two stars with the best dishes in the semi-finals advanced to the finals.
Famous participants on the show included former footballer Lenilwe 'Yay' Lesholonyane, actor Bohan Moeko and rock musician and poet Daniel du Toit.
The show will be judged by the same trio as the MasterChef show: Zola Nene, Justin Drake and Katlego Mlambo.

stars shine for a cause
The noble act of donating to charity gave us a glimpse of what celebrities value.
The winner of the competition will win a prize of R1 million, half of which will be donated to worthy causes.
