The South African Weather Service has issued multiple warnings including the possibility of strong winds for the south-west coast of the Western Cape.

A level 2 yellow warning has been issued for severe thunderstorms with heavy rain that may cause damage from localized flooding, hail and strong winds, with informal settlements and affected areas in the western, north-eastern Free State.
