Following rumors of exploitation, Scomota has suspended all bookings until further notice. The viral sensation has been in the headlines after his close friend and manager Morti wa Dikota berated his manager for exploitation.
Skotane sa Pitoli has revealed that Morti wa Dikota is suspected of defrauding Skomota residents of thousands of people.

During a sit-down interview LiPO Podcast, Skotane sa Pitri said Skomota does not have a bank account and all bookings are made through Dikota's account. Skotane sa Pitri also revealed that Skomota is unable to access his account.
However, during the interview, it was also revealed that Skomota earned over R1 million in bookings but did not receive his fair share. The allegations certainly come a few months after Mzansi questioned the relationship between Skomota and his manager.
Despite their predicament, Scomota revealed that all reservations have been cancelled. MDN News said, “Skomota has canceled all reservations until further notice. He says he is asking them to do so.”

However, after the show, Skomota also revealed how much money he was allegedly paid by his manager. Despite Skomota being busy and booked, he was said to be pocketing R1,000 per gig, even though the fee was set at R35,000.

With his newfound fame, there were rumors that Skomota was earning a whopping R545,000 a month. However, leaked WhatsApp chats from earlier this year revealed that a reservation for Skomota would cost R90,000. Sadly, despite being busy and booked, Skomota was making less money.
Skomota also revealed that there were times when he didn't even receive money from his manager. No doubt this brought tears to many people's eyes. Contrary to this trend, his management team has not made its story public.

Skomota was thrust into the spotlight in 2023. In contrast to his newfound fame, he quickly became one of the most booked club hosts. He has headlined several shows and performed with some of South Africa's finest artists, including Makazi. He has also rubbed shoulders with some celebrities including DJ Tila.
