Media personality Hany Mbau is beaming with pride after her daughter Hanukani “Kaantu” Mbau achieved an excellent 80% average in her mathematics exam.
On Monday, Basic Education Minister Siviwe Gwalbe announced the results of the 2024 academic examinations, with more than 800,000 candidates taking the National Senior Certificate Examination last year.

“I got very emotional. It was a very winding journey, but we did it and she was so proud of me. I never imagined we would get this far. I'm beaming with joy,” Carney said.
As a reward for Karnz's hard work, Honey said she plans to travel the world for 13 months to help her daughter grow and discover her passions.
Reflecting on the journey from her daughter's first day of school to this monumental achievement, Kany said it was not easy being a single mother.
“That journey has been incredibly difficult. No woman is meant to be a single mother. I've always had an open and very real relationship with Karnz. I've always told her, I told her that her best was enough, and she went above and beyond, which she always does, and I was really lucky,” she said.

Looking ahead, Kany said she wants her daughter to focus on personal growth and self-discovery.
“She has a lot of ambitions, including changing the world. For her, it would be great to travel a little and see the world, experience its diversity and explore the many opportunities that await her. I think it's the best.
“Once she has that experience, she will be able to make informed decisions.”
of young, famous, african Starr stressed that her daughter doesn't need to worry about income at this stage, but should focus on becoming a well-rounded person without social pressure.
“She doesn't need to earn an income. I have her. I want her to be a strong person and not give in to society's pressures. I believe we will capitalize on our success.”
