In-form striker Joao Pedro scored a hat-trick to help Brighton knock struggling Sheffield United out of the FA Cup.
The Brazilian scored penalties in the first and second half and scored the third goal with a shot from the edge of the area.
Brighton took the lead with a fine opening goal from Facundo Buonanotte, before Pedro's first spot-kick.
The Blades equalized before Gustavo Hammer and William Osla broke through, but late goals from Pedro and Danny Welbeck saw Brighton equalize.
Pedro, signed for £30m from Watford last summer, has scored 18 goals in all competitions for Brighton this season, including five in two FA Cup games.
However, despite a strong comeback late in the first half, it was another disappointing result for United, who sit at the bottom of the Premier League table.
Brighton has reason to be excited.
The season is getting better and better for 22-year-old forward Pedro, who manager Roberto De Zerbi admitted he knew nothing about when he joined after two-and-a-half years at Watford.
He has scored from the penalty spot 10 times this season, more than anyone in Europe's top five leagues, and 12 times against United debutant Ivo Grubic at Bramall Lane. He showed composure from the yard.
Pedro sent the Croatian player, recently signed from Atletico Madrid, in the wrong direction each time he chose to go first to the right and then to the left.
He then had enough time to control a pass from James McAtee on the edge of the area and fire a low shot past Grubic and into the bottom corner to complete his hat-trick.
Brighton played comfortably after regaining a two-goal lead, with Welbeck underscoring his team's superiority by firing a shot past Grubic from an angle deep in stoppage time.
Brighton, who sit seventh in the Premier League and have fixtures in the FA Cup and Europa League, look to have plenty to look forward to in the second half of the season.
More to come.
