Chidinma Adetosina is undoubtedly a star in the beauty pageant world.
The words “Miss Universe Nigeria” and “She's South African” trended on Twitter after the 23-year-old announced she had accepted an offer from Miss Universe Nigeria to take part in this year's competition.
Mzansi expressed her excitement over a week ago when Chidinma voluntarily withdrew from the Miss South Africa pageant, and now that she has competed in the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant, South Africans have once again reacted to her decision.
Although Vanessa was born in South Africa, due to her Nigerian name and roots, the majority of South Africans called for her to withdraw from the Miss South Africa pageant.
