Halep, 32, was suspended by the International Tennis Integrity Authority (ITIA) in September following two separate doping violations.
She tested positive for roxadustat after the 2022 U.S. Open, but in another anti-doping violation that year, it was used to monitor selected biological variables over time. Fraud was also found in the biological passports of athletes.
Halep will be unable to play professional tennis until October 6, 2026 if the ban is upheld, but she insists she is innocent and experts say she accidentally took contaminated supplements. He claims to have found that he did.
She previously said that if the ban was upheld it would likely end her career and that she would fight to clear her name of the “false allegations”.
“My day in court will be very soon,” she told reporters outside Cass in Lausanne, Switzerland, on Friday.
Halep blamed her positive test at the U.S. Open on contaminated approved supplements, and the ITIA banned her after a group of experts who evaluated her profile learned her identity. They accused him of violating the ABP.
Ms Halep's lawyer, Howard Jacobs, said Ms Kass had heard her arguments but it was unclear when the court would rule.
Halep won the French Open in 2018 and Wimbledon the following year, and was ranked number one in the world in 2017 and 2018, earning £32.2 million in prize money.
