Actor Foloso Mohlala is known for his roles in popular soaps. scheme thermis gearing up for its first celebrity boxing match, to be held today, April 5th.
Mohlala will take on Phumulani Njiro, Faith Nketsi's ex-husband and baby daddy's brother.
The much-anticipated event will be hosted by President Cyril Ramaphosa's son, Tumelo Ramaphosa, in collaboration with the Mandela Foundation and the International Boxing Association.
Although he has never fought before, Mohlala said: citizen He is looking forward to the match.
“I don't know much about boxing, but I want to get in the ring. I've boxed in the gym and I box in movies, so I do a lot of stunts.
“If he beats me, fine. If he wins, he wins. But I'm going to win and I think I can win,” he said.
His opponent, Phumulani Njiro, is no stranger to the ring, having previously fought Big Zulu.
But Mohlala said she was not scared.
“I'm going to utilize the skills I've gained in physical theater and stunt work. I'm here to have fun and give someone some blue eyes.”

A women's boxing match will also be held.
Tumelo Ramaphosa emphasized the importance of celebrity boxing in South Africa and its potential for global expansion.
“We are promoting the first celebrity boxing pay-per-view event as part of our sports marketing and management efforts. Celebrity boxing is gaining traction in South Africa and we are looking to use this to boost the sport on the continent. I see it as an opportunity.”
In addition to men's matches, the event will also feature female fighters, a decision made to promote inclusivity and provide a platform for women in combat sports.
Controversial reality TV star Ino Morolong will face off against Da Les' ex-girlfriend Ashley Ogle.
“Women's participation in society has been long overdue. If you look at any sport that evolves, you don't see a lot of women's participation until it's at a very good stage. That's what we're trying to do here. That is the case,” Mr Ramaphosa said.
He said the fighters will receive 20% of pay-per-view revenue as prize money, subject to additional agreements between organizers and participants.
Meanwhile, Njiro revealed that Mohlala had agreed to pay him R10 000 if he lost the match.
