Social media users recently criticized Luisa Molokoane, the daughter of the late gospel legend Solly Moholo, for sharing a video of her shopping at luxury stores such as Gucci and Louis Vuitton.
In the video, Luisa is seen carrying a paper bag while being escorted by armed security guards.

Solly Moholo is known for his hit songs such as. Lobala ka gotso and MferegetseHe passed away in October 2024 after a long battle with illness.
During his hospitalization, his family was unable to cover medical expenses on their own, so they requested public donations.
At the funeral, the family said the total amount of donations had reached R100,000, but it did not reach the required amount.
In response to the backlash, Luisa defended herself on Instagram, saying the funds she used were not related to public donations.
She clarified that her purchases were funded by personal means, not charities, and challenged critics to show evidence of their claims.
“There are battles we faced behind the scenes,” she wrote, adding that she was heartbroken by the assumptions and negative comments.
