Wardrobe Malfunction: Actress Sophie Ndaba recently sustained an injury while trying on a new dress at home.
Actress Sophie Ndaba on Sunday detailed her stay in hospital and expressed gratitude for the gift of life.
former generation The star acknowledged the support he received from medical professionals, thanking the doctors, physiotherapists and nurses who cared for him during his time in hospital.
Ndaba revealed that she had slipped and broken her ankle while trying on a dress at home.
“I had a great day playing golf with my daughters and when I got home and tried on a dress I slipped and broke my ankle.
“Deep thinking is what we do while getting dressed…Lesson 1: Stay in the present moment. While I was getting dressed, I was thinking about the things in the back of my mind that had been annoying me all day,” the actress wrote.
Reflecting on the incident, she stressed the need to be careful about what one thinks, warning against the kind of distractions that lead to accidents.
“Be careful of what you hold in your heart for too long, it's not worth your life. Sometimes God just wants to shake you up a little bit and make certain things happen.
“You're walking and the next thing you know you've got a broken ankle. I think it's a good reminder that some storms don't come to break you, but some come to remind you to walk slower,” she added.

Ndaba said he has battled life-threatening illnesses in the past and a broken ankle is hardly a big deal.
“Seeing the surgery process, seeing the process of putting steel things in my ankle, the cement and the scars on me, it really made me realise that life is just a process.
“I look back at where I came from and I choose to embrace it. I think, 'My God, what's a broken ankle?'” Ndaba wrote.
